As a hairdresser and the former owner of Oxygen Salon and Spa my mission is simple…AUTHENTIC BEAUTY.

 

Authentic beauty is when the skill of the hairdresser meets the insight of their client.  It is capturing a client's authentic beauty through a transforming experience.  A client's hair is their blank canvas on which they recreate themselves.  A client's hair reflects their personality.  They communicate a message to others about who they are and what they are all about through their appearance.  This is AUTHENTIC BEAUTY.

 

Skill and insight are required to achieve authentic beauty for my clients. Insight comes through asking a client the right questions and by listening to what they tell you.  When you understand the person you are working on, you can design a style based on who they are.  Skill comes through practice, education and training.

 

Staying true to my philosophy I have received training consistently from the Vidal Sassoon Academy San Francisco, Toni and Guy Long Beach, and DiPeitro Todd Academy San Francisco throughout my 20-year career as a hairdresser.
