With some college under her belt, Shelly realized early that her education didn’t fulfill a creative aspect of her personality. “Some of the things I am really inspired by are the 30’s, 40’s and 50’s era, art, music, and the changing trends of today. Going to cosmetology school was a great artistic outlet for me. This is my passion.”
We asked her “Why GS Hair?” “I kept seeing them on My Space. I was very impressed with everything they did for their team. Plus, I liked how they showcased each person’s unique talents. Other salons just didn’t have that drive. When I toured the salon, I knew I wanted to be part of the GS Hair family. They really cared about helping me be the very best I could be. A Sacramento native and Elite Cosmetology School Alumnus, Shelly values the importance of continuing her education, especially her hair cutting techniques. “I like coloring but I can’t wait to get to the haircut. To me that is what brings the whole look together, she continues, “I’ll run shears through your hair and transform you into something marvelous.”
